Marsulpentruviata.ro, March 24, 2025 – The Month for Life 2025 campaign will conclude in Romania and the Republic of Moldova with the 15th edition of the March for Life, scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025. The event will be held in Bucharest and over a thousand cities and towns in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

The March for Life 2025 is part of the Month for Life, a national campaign running throughout March that includes informational, educational, and support activities dedicated to pregnant women and their unborn children.
Why “Every Person Matters”
The March for Life 2025 aims to deliver a clear and powerful message: every life has value, and supporting pregnant women in difficult situations can make a difference. In a society where many women face lack of emotional, financial or social support, it is essential to promote solutions based on solidarity, empathy, and responsibility.
The theme of this year’s March for Life is deeply inspired by the extraordinary testimony of Magdalena Rusu, the Olympic rowing champion at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Her story reflects courage and faith in life: when her mother found out she was pregnant, she already had a 20-year-old daughter who was also expecting a child. At 40, Magdalena’s mother feared societal judgment for her decision to bring a child into the world. During this difficult time, the unconditional support of Alina Păun, Magdalena’s older sister, was essential. “I encouraged my mother to keep the baby. She was 40 and therefore seen as an aging woman, so she felt ashamed. I told her, ‘You have no reason to be ashamed of bringing a child into the world.’ She said, ‘If you help me, I’ll move forward.'”

Our message is addressed to the entire society, which is why our initiative is apolitical, non-religious, and does not support the exclusion of women in any way.
The vision we pursue:
A world where every life is celebrated, cherished, and protected from conception. A world where pregnant women are respected, protected, and supported. A world where the child and the family raising the child are protected by society.
We witness a lack of comprehensive information and education among young people. Therefore, we focus our efforts on educating the younger generation, preparing them to make truly informed decisions.
We firmly believe that education and proper information are the most powerful means to advocate for building a civilized society that respects every human being.
We know that only through collaboration and cooperation we can have a strong impact on society. We do not advocate for a legal ban on abortion. But we believe that every human life deserves to be protected and supported. Lack of support should not push a woman to choose between her own life and her child’s. That is why we take action, offering real support to pregnant women, concrete alternatives, resources and counseling, information, and education.

Events during the Month for Life
Throughout March, numerous pro-life activities will take place, including:
- Information and education events for young people and adults;
- Support campaigns for pregnant women in difficult situations;
- Charitable and volunteer actions dedicated to vulnerable families;
- Artistic and cultural events aimed at promoting respect for life;
- Presentations and articles in publications.
The March for Life 2025 Schedule
In Bucharest, the event will begin at 11:30 AM at University Square (The Statue Esplanade). At 12:30 PM, participants will begin the march along the following route: Regina Elisabeta Boulevard – Schitu Măgureanu Boulevard – Izvor Park, where the Live for Life concert will start at 1:00 PM. In Izvor Park, participants will find activities for children and young people, snacks and refreshments, as well as workshops and presentations on pro-life support held by host organizers and partners.
Organizers and Partners
The March for Life 2025 is organized nationally by local associations and local volunteers. In Bucharest, the event is organized by the Students for Life and Romania for Life, with support from institutional partners and non-governmental organizations dedicated to assisting women and families in difficulty.
